Tracee Ellis Ross facilitated night two of the Democratic National Convention virtually, taking the time to speak about the importance of leadership at such a crucial time for our country and her experience as a Black woman watching new leaders emerge in politics. "We are turning the tide - hello, Kamala [Harris]," she said, smiling. "Her nomination is historic."
Tracee, who works with stylist Karla Welch on her looks, chose a red-and-black Proenza Schouler dress from the label's pre-fall 2020 collection - a modest design with fitted sleeves, a draped sash, and a colorblock effect at the waist. The dress, which comes in perfect autumnal tones, is still available to shop at Farfetch for $1,090.
We actually appreciated Tracee's choice in accessories more than anything else: smart patent pumps and double gold, circular hoop earrings that sent a subtle message about unity when our country needs it most. Scroll through to watch Tracee's important three-minute introduction, which deserves your full attention, then see a few more angles of her look and check out the bordeaux number she wore in more detail. Because of its color, the dress is described as "a glass of wine" on Farfetch's site - and very fine wine it is!
