Though we're all still trying to figure out what to make of 2020, I'm sure we can collectively agree that if nothing else, this year has forced us to get our loungewear and basics collection in complete order. And though I never thought I'd be the one to say it, I'm actually not mad about it. As a native Californian who's now lived in both New York and Washington DC, I've learned the importance of investing in quality winter basics that not only serve the purpose of keeping you warm and dry but are also, of course, cute! From oversize hoodies and sweats to longline puffers and chunky-sole boots, here are a handful of ways some of our favorite influencers are making their functional winter basics look a lot more fashionable this season.
