Need Help Getting Dressed Again? Try These Interactive Shopping Apps

If you spent the majority of last year indoors wearing sweat suits, bike shorts, or, best-case scenario, stylish loungewear, now that the vaccine rollout is underway and the world is finally opening up, you're probably scrambling to figure out how to get dressed again. Even though I work in fashion, I too have fallen victim to this confused sartorial state of being. Fortunately, with the help of online shopping platforms and digital styling services, getting back into the swing of wearing "real clothes" again just got a whole lot easier.

"As we transition out of the pandemic, people will start to re-engage with events and occasions that call for different types of dress than Zoom calls required," Terry Boyle, CEO and founder of the newly launched interactive shopping platform Behold, told POPSUGAR. Perfectly fitting for the current moment, the app uses artificial intelligence technology along with live professional stylists to curate personalized wardrobes, complete with head-to-toe outfit ideas, for users to shop.

As a corporate employee-turned-WFH style writer, I can attest to the fact that my wardrobe is totally and completely discombobulated right now, and I'm sure I'm not alone. But with a new season on the horizon, there's no better time to get your closet in order. With that in mind, I tested out three new virtual styling services - Behold, ShopShops, and Kiin - to kickstart my post-pandemic wardrobe. Keep reading to check out my reviews.
