It's finally happening! Yara Shahidi announced that she's creating a collection with Adidas. The Grown-ish actress posted a video of herself wearing a mustard-yellow track jacket that had a blue collar and sleeves, which she styled with a white tank top. While grinning in the video, Yara basks in the sunlight, obviously unable to contain her excitement for the big news. (Same here, girl!)
The actress captioned the photo, "Y'all knew this was coming 😓 #collab." We had hoped it was true, but now we know for sure. Adidas made an official statement announcing the ReCreation Heritage line where Yara explores her Iranian and African American heritage with a capsule collection. For Drop 1, Yara gives her personal spin to the Superstar silhouette and brings two colorful takes to the classic Adidas tracksuit featuring bold prints. The campaign images feature Duckwrth, Andrea Thomas, and Dora Owusu.
Yara has been repping the brand for quite a while now and has been seen multiple times even wearing collabs from the brand's other partnerships, including lines with Pharell Williams and Beyoncé.
